Our Healthcare Initiatives
Promoting health and well-being for all.
Empowering Lives Through Better Health
At Indepth Vision Foundation, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of rural communities in Haryana. Through our targeted programs, we address cancer, chronic diseases, and eye health to ensure early detection, timely treatment, and increased awareness.
Our approach emphasizes prevention, early detection, treatment, and education, ensuring that rural communities gain access to essential healthcare services that can save lives and enhance their quality of life.
Preventive Health Check-up Camps for Other Diseases
We conduct preventive health check-up camps in rural areas for common diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and tuberculosis. These camps help identify health issues early, connect patients to appropriate treatment, and raise awareness about disease prevention. In Haryana, studies show a significant prevalence of these conditions, emphasizing the urgent need for regular screening in rural communities.
Eye Health and Blindness Prevention
Eye conditions like cataracts, uncorrected refractive errors, and glaucoma remain major causes of preventable blindness in India. In Haryana, these conditions — along with diabetic retinopathy — are increasingly common. Through our eye health programs, we provide free eye check-ups, awareness sessions, and referrals for treatment at government and partner hospitals, working to ensure that preventable blindness is effectively addressed.
Blood Donation Initiative for Cancer Patients
Supporting Life-Saving Treatment Through Blood Donation
Our NGO is proud to lead a dedicated blood donation initiative focused on supporting cancer patients who require
frequent and large quantities of blood during their treatment.
Each unit represents hope, strength, and a second chance at life.
Why Cancer Patients Need More Blood
Cancer treatment, especially chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and major surgeries, often leads to:
- Severe anemia
- Low platelet counts
- Weak immunity
- Continuous need for transfusions
Unlike many other patients, cancer patients may require repeated blood and platelet transfusions throughout their treatment journey. Regular blood availability is critical to ensure uninterrupted care and recovery.
Our Collaboration
We are honored to conduct this initiative in collaboration with:
National Cancer Institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Badsa
